A private matchmaking community for young Africans in the diaspora
21230

Meet with intention.

You finished school. Built a career. Moved abroad. And somehow everyone still thinks eligible singles are falling from the ceiling. 21230 is a better way to meet people who share your culture and get the jokes without you having to explain them.

Hosted by Aunty Flaky. Gen X auntie, registered social worker, and the woman behind every introduction.

Everybody here is vetted, and nobody is swiping through strangers.

21230 is for young Africans aged 21 to 30 living abroad, in London, Dublin, Toronto, Houston and wherever else the diaspora has landed. It is for people who are open to something serious and want to meet someone who understands where they come from.

This isn't a dating app. Every applicant is reviewed and verified personally. Nothing is ever posted publicly without your consent, and no one sees your information until you've both said yes.

How it works

01

Apply

Fill in a private questionnaire covering who you are, what you're looking for, and what actually matters to you in a partner.

02

Review

Aunty Flaky and her team review your profile personally.

03

Verify

A short private video call confirms who you are and that you are actually single.

04

Match

You're introduced only once both sides are interested, and never before that.

05

It's yours from here

21230 creates the introduction. You create the relationship.

Aunty Flaky, host of 21230

Who is Aunty Flaky?

"Marriage-minded doesn't mean marriage-desperate."

I'm a Gen X auntie, a registered social worker and a mother who has raised children from nappies all the way to adulthood. I have lived through marriage and family life, so I know what it takes to build something, and I know what it looks like when something isn't working.

I'm not here to force old expectations onto a new generation. I'm here because choosing the person you build your life with matters, and young people deserve a better way to meet others who want the same thing.

I'm Nigerian, so that's the community I know best, and it's where most of our members come from. Africans from anywhere in the diaspora are welcome here. Wherever home is, the questions are the same.

You can be intentional about this and still enjoy dating, still take your time. Being serious about your future doesn't mean rushing into it.
